For this series, we hope to share information from community based organizations that provide services within and beyond Boston Public Schools as a way to strengthen collaboration and share resources with each other. Prioritizing the voice of those working in the community and in schools is central to this series. This series does not offer CEUS, but does include additional resources for each training.
This training features Becky Manseau Barnett from the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line and Tasha Ferguson from Boston Medical Center’s Community Behavioral Health Center sharing timely information for school professionals about accessing behavioral health resources through their organizations and discussing answers to some frequently asked questions.
This training provides information about recovery high schools and frameworks for understanding substance use and recovery. The presenters share strengths-based and student-centered strategies for schools and districts to consider when building their own systems of support. This training features guest speakers Roger Oser and Joelle Bush.
This training features Jon Gay and Christine Lambright, LMHC from The Children’s Room and Laura Ochoa, MHA and Corina Garcia, LMHC from BMC’s Good Grief Program.
